Apple declined to comment to the newspaper while the White House didn\u2019t respond to the FT\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Apple took the extreme measure this week of\u00a0raising prices\u00a0for all Macs, iPads, home devices and its Vision Pro augmented reality headset as the company tries to offset cost hikes caused by an unprecedented shortage of memory chips and storage. The company\u00a0warned\u00a0last month that memory shortages would worsen over the course of the year.
